Descrição

(Victoria amazonica - Giant water lily).  An aquatic plant of the Ninfeacea family whose enormous leaves can reach 1.8 meters in diameter and whose white or pink flowers (one on each plant) can reach 0.3 meters in diameter.  The flowers open at night and close at the first rays of dawn.
