Uxi-coroa

(Duckesia verrucosa). A large tree that yields edible oily fruit. We believe this refers to the uxicuruá recorded in official lexicons.  The pronunciation of uxi-coroa was taken from the mid-Amazon region, in contrast to the uxi-liso, another fruit, similar to the oiti, coming from the northeastern region but also common in other regions such as Rio de Janeiro.
